Ted Leibowitz, Vice President

Ted LeibowitzPassionate about Performance Improvement and Corporate Education, Ted has developed and managed successful programs in instructional design, succession planning, leadership development, technology implementations, change management, engagement initiatives, and the developmental and cognitive sciences…for industries including healthcare, technology, sales, organizational development, and governmental agencies. He has implemented programs and content on a global scale, leveraging cultural dynamics across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Prior to his current role at The Laredo Group, Ted has held positions as an Instructional Designer and Learning & Development Program Manager at Microsoft; Human Capital Learning & Development Program Manager at the United States Postal Service Headquarters; and Customer Success & Project Development Manager for Timberlake Membership Software.

He has designed, developed, and implemented internal Universities/Academies, webinar programs, and eLearning curriculums for internal and customer-facing training programs. He has created and implemented compliance programs, managed the development and growth of custom software platforms for learning programs, software and online tools; and worked in executive development, instructional design, and eLearning; and in consultant roles serving learning and development needs across all three sectors.

Ted holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the State University of New York at Binghamton; as well as a Master’s Degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning, and a Graduate Certificate in Workplace Instructional Design, from Boise State University.

Erica Leibowitz, Director of Curriculum Development

Erica LeibowitzA proven leader in creating and managing scalable content, multifaceted projects, and cross-functional teams, both locally and remotely…Erica has extensive experience leading teams through the creation of instructor-led and eLearning courses, and has facilitated and taught instructor-led courses throughout her career in the public, private, and government sectors.

She has developed and managed both in-person and virtual training programs and teams in sales enablement, software implementation, call centers, and training courses that specify compliance with Section 508 and ADA standards…having worked for companies in technology, healthcare, sales, security, compliance, and government (classified and non-classified).

In addition to her role at Laredo Group, Erica works for IBM Watson Health as an Instructional Designer for Global Sales Enablement; working with the sales team to increase their skills and knowledge of Watson Health products and services internationally. Erica previously held positions as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton (Sr. Instructional Designer and Trainer); a Senior Instructional Designer contractor for the Department of State; an Instructional Designer and Trainer for SSB BART Group, a company specializing in digital accessibility for people with disabilities; and as a Learning Specialist for BDO.

Erica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master of Art in Teaching Degree from The State University of New York at Cortland; as well as a Master’s Degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning, with a graduate certificate in Workplace eLearning Performance Support, from Boise State University.
